Description from the seller
Andrea Giorgi has been recognized among the TOP 10 sculptors of 2024 and among the TOP 50 artists out of 129,000 in 2025 on one of the leading international platforms dedicated to selling contemporary art.
Biography
Andrea Giorgi (born 1974) is an Italian artist who began his career as an interior designer for over ten years, later specializing in interior design for mega yachts. Since 2008 he has been among the pioneers of digital art in Italy, bringing his works to international fairs and exhibitions. Some of his works adorn the interiors of luxury yachts, while one of his pieces was acquired by Ferrero, entering a prestigious private collection of contemporary art.
Since 2016 he has also devoted himself to digital sculpture, with works today in collections around the world. He was one of the first sculptors to propose his creations on Catawiki, introducing subjects and styles — such as boxers, figures emerging from magazines and walls, and lattice sculptures — that later inspired many artists active on the platform.
Giorgi designs each sculpture entirely in 3D and produces them in Italy with various 3D printing technologies. Laser-printed works are finished and hand-colored by the artist, while the most exclusive series are cast in bronze using the lost-wax process in collaboration with a renowned Italian foundry. His philosophy, shaped in the luxury world, is clear: “LESS IS MORE.” For this reason his annual production is deliberately limited, as is the number of works put up for auction each week.
Andrea Giorgi’s sculptures are rare and represent an exclusive of Collection, the contemporary art gallery founded by the artist in 2015. The gallery handles works by young Italian and European talents, as well as pieces by established artists such as Rabarama, Walter Valentini, Piero Gilardi, Aubertin, Roberta Coni, Annalù Boeretto, Salvatore Provino, Paolo Radi, Ceribelli, Giuseppe Amadio, Riccardo Gusmaroli, Giorgio Gost, Invader, Kaws and many others.
