Description from the seller

Emerging from darkness, a face is captured in a moment suspended between pain and transformation. Turned toward an invisible light, the figure suggests a person standing at the threshold of their own limits. The blurred layers disrupt the certainty of reality, transforming the portrait into an inner landscape where physical presence and psychological experience converge.

The photograph explores the instant when one ceases to resist their own shadows and embraces the process of change. Darkness is not presented as an ending, but as a space from which new awareness can emerge. The expression oscillates between suffering, ecstasy, and liberation, inviting the viewer to reflect on the boundaries of human resilience and the possibility of transcendence.

Printed on premium Fomei Cotton Textured 240 is a deep matte, textured fine art inkjet paper with a 100% cotton backing. Reproductions made on it will not fade: it is acid-free and does not contain optical brighteners. The photo is stamped and signed by the artist.
