Its reflection in the polished surface creates a second, inverted world where reality meets its projection. An object of everyday fashion is stripped of its original context and becomes a sculptural form whose lines define space with precision and authority.
The photograph explores the relationship between identity and the symbols through which it is expressed. The heel is not merely an aesthetic element but a metaphor for status, confidence, and consciously embraced roles. In the dialogue between the object and its reflection, the work raises the question of whether power emerges from outward appearance or from the inner conviction of the person who carries it.

Richard Dömös is photographer born and living in Slovakia. His production is usually focused on sport, product, reportage and artistical photography however he is enthusiastic about various photo experiments and project as well. Additionally, he is involved in photogrammetry and has worked on significant projects such as the video game title Call of Duty - Modern Warfare and for Kojima Productions.
