This painting is an abstract artwork characterized by a strong material component and a rich, three-dimensional texture. The center of the canvas is dominated by intense tones of blue, sky blue, and cobalt. These shades create a sense of depth reminiscent of a gap in the sky, a reflection on water, or a glacier seen from above. The central part is wrapped in softer tones of blush pink, dirty white, beige, and lavender hues. This contrast creates a visual balance between the power of blue and the delicacy of light tones. In several spots on the canvas, small golden touches emerge, catching the light and adding dynamic points of shine to the surface. The surface is not smooth. The work is the result of numerous overlapping layers and partially scraped away. This technique reveals underlying colors and creates a worn, time-aged effect.
