Brolio Chianti Classico
DESCRIPTION:
Producer: Brolio
Wine: Chianti Classico
Vintage: 2020
Number of Bottles: 2
Size: 1,5L
Grapes: sangiovese 80%, merlot 15%, cabernet sauvignon 5%
Aging: refine for approximately 9 months in wood
Alc.: 14%
A Chianti Classico DOCG that doesn't hide its youthful character, yet manages to stand out for its structure that's anything but inconsistent, and indeed presents a complexity on the palate that's certainly worthy of note. The Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes macerate for 12-16 days, fermenting in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 24-27°C, before aging for approximately 9 months in wood. It features a very bright and intense ruby red color. The bouquet on the nose highlights primarily fruity notes, interspersed with balsamic sensations and tertiary aromas deriving from the aging process. On the palate, it is soft, delicate, medium-bodied, and well-balanced.
