Description from the seller

Baron von Poschinger – Large Neo-Art Nouveau Vase – Germany, circa 1980

Hand-blown studio glass vase from the traditional glassworks Freiherr von Poschinger from Frauenau (Bavarian Forest).

High-quality furnace work from the Art Nouveau reproduction series around 1980.

Form:
Symmetrical four-lobed mouth with four hand-formed waves.

Effect:
Intact luster-crackle on the surface. The glass underneath is stable and flawless. It creates a nacreous rainbow iridescence.

Decoration:
Hand-painted enamel painting with a autumnal ideal landscape (birds in flight on the front, tree with wooden fence on the back).

Base:
Polished pontil scar (pontil mark) proving pure handwork.

Condition:
Excellent. No chips, no cracks or scratches. Glass and decoration are flawless. Minimal signs of use inside.

Special feature: The original, square gold-red paper manufacturer label ("Freiherr v. Poschinger since 1605 mouth-blown") is perfectly preserved.

Shipping:
Shipping is carried out with extremely secure packaging, ample cushioning material, and in a sturdy carton to exclude transport damage.
