Description from the seller
Wonderful oil painting on canvas, measurements 30 x 40 cm including height, work by the painter GENTILUOMO BARTOLO. Material, of thickness and great allure...! The Rialto Bridge dominates the central scene, rising above the Grand Canal populated by numerous colorful gondolas moored in the foreground. It is a work in Modern Impressionism style, characterized by strong expressiveness and visual dynamism. The artist used the fat impasto technique, spreading the oil color directly with a spatula. This approach creates a strong, tactile thickness on the canvas, giving the painting a three-dimensional, almost sculptural texture that captures light in a vibrant way. The cool and intense tones of blue and azure of the water and sky contrast magnificently with the warm colors (orange, ochre and red) of the historic Venetian buildings and with the lively touches of the boats. Signed bottom right; title and counter-signature on the back, On the back an authentic photo and signature. Courier shipping
