XTC, Mc Banksy Red Boxed, a plastic and wood framed box sculpture (27 × 27 × 6 cm) from 2026, edition 15/20, hand-signed, France, in excellent condition with COA provided.
Description from the seller
Mc Banksy cone in a boxed frame for a wall presentation by XTC.
A subversion of a McDonald's cone, combining Banksy’s délicatesse (subtlety) with the abundance of McDonald’s, represented by the quantity of hearts.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything is made from plastics and painted by XTC.
The frame is part of the artwork. It comes with a plastic panel, and you can display it with or without, as in the first and third photos.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The piece sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful, tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that was to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous borders between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
Among others, he draws inspiration from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
