XTC, Jerrican Nutella XL 10L, a hand-signed painted steel sculpture, edition 10/30 (2026), 40 cm high by 30 cm wide by 13 cm deep, made in France, in excellent condition, with a COA.
Description from the seller
Large 10L Jerrycan Nutella by XTC.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The copy in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent)
Careful packing and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research has turned into a passion that was meant to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any dents in non-visible parts such as the underside of the jerrican.
