Trevisan Carlo, Wood Love, an oil on canvas work (50 × 50 cm, 200 g) from 2025, in original edition, hand-signed, in excellent condition, depicting a bright red heart outlined in white on a circular rustic wooden board with a suspended gold/bronze key, in Pop Art style.
Description from the seller
The oil painting on canvas titled "Wood Love" features a striking central image. On a circular slab of rustic, cracked wood that appears to be suspended in midair, a large bright red heart is painted, outlined by a thin white line. The heart seems to be carved directly into the wood or glued on top of it. On the right half of the heart hangs an old key, gold or brass, as if it could unlock a secret or grant access to that heart.
The wooden board is worn, with evident vertical cracks and jagged edges, and it has an opening in the shape of a keyhole or arch at the bottom, reinforcing the idea of a door or hidden compartment. The background is a blurry blue/gray sky, which gives the work a sense of mystery and suspension.
In the bottom left corner of the canvas, the artist's signature reads: "Trevisan".
