Description from the seller
“The World of Mery” is an original and spectacular work in a realist-symbolist style, entirely dedicated to the world of childhood, produced by the Neapolitan artist Antonio Pirozzi. A painting somewhat different from the usual canons of metaphysical and surrealism to which the artist has accustomed us, but equally beautiful, rich in ardent colors; measures 70 cm in height by 60 cm in width and 2 cm thick. The artwork will be shipped by SDA Express Courier of Poste Italiane or GLS. Delivery times are: for Italy 2-3 days; for abroad 7-8 days. On the back, attached to the artwork, is the certificate of authenticity and the artist’s professional stamp. Antonio Pirozzi, born in Giugliano in Campania near Naples, is an architect and painter. He trained within the circle of Neapolitan surrealist and metaphysical painters, among whom we may mention Antonio Nunziante. The canvases, in fact, crystallize dreamlike and unreal atmospheres, compositions of notable poeticity, built on absurd combinations that seem to evoke the realm of the subconscious and the occult. He currently lives and works in Mugnano di Napoli.
