Born between the winding river and terraced vineyards of Portugal’s Douro Valley, Colheita Port is a spirit deeply intertwined with the passage of time.

Unlike classic Port wines, Colheita is fortified with grape spirit during fermentation, preserving the grapes’ pure sweetness and rich fruit character while adding greater depth and complexity.

Port wines come in many styles, classified by their maturation methods and aging periods. For this release, Kavalan selected a 1982 Colheita Port cask and filled it with new make spirit in 2017. Through Taiwan’s unique subtropical climate, the whisky matured gracefully, developing remarkable richness and layered complexity.

Every bottle of Colheita captures a preserved moment in time—waiting to be awakened once again when the cork is finally drawn.
