Description from the seller
“Blue Garden”
In “Blue Garden” I build an emotional landscape where the flowers seem to emerge from memory and intuition more than from a literal representation. I work with the color blue as a space of contemplation and depth, creating a nearly suspended garden, full of gestures, transparencies, and movements that intertwine as if they were thoughts or memories floating in time. Floral shapes appear and disappear within a vibrant atmosphere, enveloping the composition in a sense of calm and mystery.
The work is realized through layers of free brushwork and gestural strokes that generate rhythm, density, and movement. I want the viewer to be able to get lost inside the painting, visually tracing each fragment as if walking through an imaginary garden. The contrast between intense blues and the luminous transparencies provides a contemporary and poetic feel, where nature and abstraction coexist in a single pictorial space.
About R. Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theatre designer, and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and residing in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts and develops an artistic practice focused on painting and contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry, and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Art Instructors School, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and scenography designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.

He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France, and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico.
