Complete collection of the 9 volumes of the famous "Journal for All: Weekly Illustrated Magazine," published in Paris by Ch. Lahure.
This flagship 19th-century publication offers a fascinating immersion into the literature and cultural news of the era, enriched by a richly illustrated iconography.
Notable contents: Includes the early volumes of the publication launched in April 1855. It features stunning textual engravings, notably signed by Gustave Doré, as well as great novels of the time published in serial form, such as The Wolves of Machecoul by Alexandre Dumas.

Condition and conservation details:
Bindings: Period bindings of varied styles, showing signs of wear (friction, repaired spikes and worn corners, light nibbling on some spines), in keeping with the age of the works.
Interior: Paper from the period with foxing and scattered browning that do not affect readability or the beauty of the engravings.
Special note: The sixth volume has the peculiarity of having its very last page pasted down.
