Federico Patellani - Maria Callas

This is an interesting photograph dating from 1957 by the well-known Lombard photographer Federico Patellani, considered one of the greatest Italian photographers of the 20th century.
The image was taken at Meneghini's house in Milan, and is a portrait of the opera singer Maria Callas at Meneghini, the wife of Giovanni Battista Meneghini.
On the back we obviously find the photographer's stamp, the old 1950s stamp, and also a typed sheet, from the period, from PAT Pictures, the agency founded by Federico Patellani.
A distinctive photograph of a great photographic artist, rare in its subject's peculiarity, a Callas "intimate" in her conjugal home, with a white phone, well described on the back, also with numerous handwritten notes from the era.
Overall good condition with some creases, size 29.3x20 cm, a 3 cm white bottom border.
