Each painting is painted beyond the displayed dimensions to allow it to be stretched on a stretcher without a frame. Thus, the visible sides of the stretcher are an integral part of the painting. But you can also add a frame (see photos, stretcher and frame not included).

Understanding the dimensions: they are raw. Generally 4 to 7 cm are added on each side of the canvas to be able to stretch it on a stretcher properly. The larger the canvas, the larger the margin.
For example, for an XXL canvas of 145 cm by 145 cm, the stretcher will be 130 cm by 130 cm, i.e., 7.5 cm on each side.
