"PATHS"
The "Paths" collection represents the idea that life is not a straight line but a set of roads, forks, detours. Everyone starts from a different point, walks at different paces, stumbles, goes back, changes direction. There is not a single 'right' way to get somewhere.
Each single piece is a unique handmade work crafted with delicacy and feeling. The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional kiln, then patinated cold. In the porosity and in the imperfections of the terracotta and pigments used, lies the beauty of this material.
Shipping will be carried out carefully. All works are hand-signed and accompanied by an authenticity certificate.
Techniques:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended art and photography academy. Always in search of inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside, she discovers in small things the charm of simplicity and replays it through matter, thus enabling an open dialogue with her own unconscious.
For several years she had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village of Etruscan origins.
A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decides to return to live in open countryside, so she can focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
