Description from the seller

Handmade brass wall mirror – England – second half of the 20th century
Elegant handmade wall mirror of English origin, crafted in solid brass with a richly decorated frame in rococo- and baroque-style.
The mirror has a classic oval shape and is surrounded by an ornate openwork frame with refined scroll ornaments, foliate motifs and a decorative crown. The warm gold-toned sheen of the brass gives the whole piece a timeless and stylish appearance.
On the back there is a partially legible original stamp reading "Made in England" and a serial number. The brand name is worn and not fully legible, but seems to refer to Gicon or Cicon Mirror.
The piece is fully handmade and forms a handsome focal point in both classic and eclectic interiors.
Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of use appropriate for age and use. The mirror glass shows slight aging traces and a few small spots in the glass. The brass frame is in a fine state with a natural patina that contributes to the character of the object. Please consult the photos for an accurate impression of the condition.
