Skepa is a French artist born in 1978, a painter and sculptor, co-founder of the BAFO movement. A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon, he began his artistic practice with graffiti alongside Jone Hopper in the early 1990s.
His work follows a free and instinctive approach, nourished by urban culture and contemporary plastic research. Over the years, his painting has evolved toward a rougher, more expressive handwriting, blending abstraction, free figuration and the energy of gesture.
Recognized for a singular and immediately identifiable universe, Skepa develops a powerful and vibrant body of work, regularly shown on the international art market.

Skepa est un artiste français né en 1978, peintre et sculpteur, cofondateur du mouvement BAFO. Diplômé de à l’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, il débute sa pratique artistique par le graffiti avec Jone Hopper au début des années 1990.
