My works arise from an intuitive process in which color, form and space condense into a unique visual language. The starting points are sketches, architectural structures or individual color fields. As the painting progresses, compositions are overlaid, altered and renegotiated until a balance between clarity and openness emerges.
Architecture plays a central role. Buildings, façades and geometric shapes become carriers of inner states, memories and atmospheres. The images move between concreteness and abstraction and open spaces for personal associations.
