In this work, artist Vanessa Bonino explores an unexpected contrast: the majestic power of the bull transposed into a pose of extreme delicacy.

Despite the vigorous musculature and the imposing bulk of the animal, the bull appears almost unsteady, suspended in a light movement that belies its heaviness.

This precarious posture, together with the choice of changing iridescent resin on a solid stone base, creates a visual short circuit between brute force and the fragility of a moment.

Vanessa Bonino (Turin, 1992) is a contemporary artist whose current research focuses on the plastic force of sculptural matter. Trained in the cultural fervor of Turin, Bonino has evolved her eclectic style toward an original synthesis between ceramic tradition and digital languages.

Her latest productions witness a deep experimentation with terracotta and glazed ceramic, where ancestral forms — such as the bull or the carp figure — are reinterpreted through low-poly geometries or expressionist sculptures full of dynamism.
