Geida - DUSK REVERIE

A man alone, a glass of whiskey, an empty office, a birds-eye view of NEW YORK, and a letter lying on the floor; although the man is seen from behind, everything is implied, a certain emotion emanates from this scene and invites us to reflect or project ourselves, to identify with this man; what is he thinking, what is written on this scrap of paper… a love letter, a breakup, a contract, a resignation, a long-lost friend; it’s up to you to create the next part of this story.

GEIDA is a French artist from the south of France, born in 1982, on the shores of the Côte d’Azur.

Inspired by both classical and modern painting, he moves between contemporary works and street art. His creations incorporate emblematic elements of classic and pop culture. His works are characterized by the reinterpretation of major painters, warm colors, and expressive and hypnotic compositions.

GEIDA explores different forms of universes and productions. Some of his works are reproduced in small editions on canvas, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. The artist’s style reflects a blend of classical art and new techniques, with the aim of captivating attention, provoking thought, and elevating interiors.
