Description from the seller

Khandoba, refined lost-wax cast finished by chasing. Khandoba, warrior manifestation of Shiva, the protector deity of the Marathas and the shepherds, warriors and hunters of the Deccan uplands. Armed, with four arms, he rides his steed. Behind him a blazing arch supported by two columns, with a Kirtimukha at the apex. A five-headed cobra, symbol of Shiva's power and royalty, protects him as a canopy. Nice three-piece fusion that interlocks, good condition and attractive patina, worn and polished from ritual use. Height: 21 cm. Maharashtra, early 19th century. Insured shipping.
