African Beads, Adornments & Textiles Auction

Thread of ancient trade beads, produced in Murano / Venice and sold in West Africa between 1880 and 1920 as barter goods. The thread is composed of several types of oval and round beads with different designs. In total the beads are about 52; they are in good condition, only some are chipped, which adds authenticity. Bought in Cameroon in the 1990s from a local artisan.

Filo di antiche perle commerciali, prodotte a Murano / Venezia e vendute  in Africa occidentale tra il 1880 e il 1920 come merce di scambio . il filo è composto da diversi tipi di perline ovali e tonde e con disegni diversi . In totale le perline sono 52   circa , si presentano in buone condizioni solo  alcune sono scheggiate avvalorando l'autenticità . comprate in Camerun anni 90 da artigiano locale
