Description from the seller
Tilted face, closed eyelids, she yields to the light of an endless afternoon. Behind her, the sea unfolds its deep blues to the horizon, and a few golden clouds linger like a memory of sunshine. Everything here breathes silence: the collected pose, the dark hair framing the face like a parenthesis, the marine blue washing the scene in a contemplative gentleness. This portrait does not illustrate a moment; it suspends time — the rare moment when one closes the eyes to better listen to the open sea. A inhabited work, between daydream and calm, inviting the gaze to slow down and settle, like her, before the immensity.
Technique mixte: handmade acrylic painting enhanced on a pigment ink print, varnish applied by hand, for the depth of blacks and lasting protection of the artwork.
Support: premium canvas stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.
Enhanced print with acrylic paint, 40x40 cm in size
Authenticity: Comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Shipping: Shipped from France, with secure packaging to ensure perfect delivery.
Neopablo does not paint a terrace but an hour — this suspended moment when Paris tips into evening and everyone lingers, with a glass in hand, as if to hold back the day. The silhouette seen from behind in the foreground creates an immediate complicity with the viewer: we are sitting there too, among this crowd, watching the sun go down. The thick, swirling stroke of the sky, the glimmer of lights and glasses recall Van Gogh’s nocturnal terraces, but here everything remains warm and full of living light. It is a painting of love — for Paris, for the apéritif hour, for these moments shared at the edge of night.
“I do not paint a sunset; I paint what it carries away with it. The silhouette does not advance: it leaves behind what no longer has light.”
The Technique: Neo Pablo uses an expressive and structured approach on high-quality canvas. This original artwork is a physical recording of light and urban atmosphere:
Acrylic: Creating a rich, vibrant environment using warm tones (ochres, deep reds, yellows) against profound shadows.
Brushwork (Pinceau & Spalter): Energetic, visible strokes that build the architectural space and capture the dynamic reflections on the floor.
Chiaroscuro & Backlighting (Backlight): A masterful play of contrast between the glowing street view outside and the intimate, shadowed interior of the brasserie.

Emerging and instinctive artist, Neo Pablo challenges the codes of figurative abstract art. Trained at Atelier Joconde alongside his father, the neo-realist international Le Yack, and his brother Medsan, he has transformed the family heritage into a quest for raw freedom. In just three years, he has established a strong visual signature: a tense technique that intertwines with the play of textures and lights. His silhouettes are born from contrast, oscillating between shadow and the energy of color. For Neo Pablo, every canvas is a laboratory where the brush sculpted the invisible to render emotion tangible.
Atelier Joconde is a workshop of artists gathered around an evolving contemporary creation. Set up as a true place of artistic production, the studio operates both in collective creation and in individual approaches, depending on projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work with cinematic and realistic influences. Beside him, Medsan, oriented toward pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo engages in a more instinctive quest, blending abstract art, raw art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, created, and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and an identity unique to each artist.
