Artist biography

Born in 1974, FENX is a major figure on the contemporary French urban scene. Emerging from the graffiti movement of the 1990s, he gradually develops a personal artistic vocabulary mixing painting, illustration, digital creation, and popular culture.

His universe is recognizable by its enigmatic characters, cinematic atmospheres, and mastery of contrasts. Inspired by music, cinema, comics, and urban imagination, he creates works that invite the viewer to construct their own story.

Present in numerous private collections in France and internationally, FENX regularly exhibits in galleries and at events dedicated to contemporary art and urban art. His solo exhibition "Rocks Have Tales To Tell" marked an important milestone in his career by exploring notions of memory, narrative, and emotion through a series of new works.
