Quadekker - The Horse Book. An illustrated handbook for every owner and lover of horses. Zutphen, Schillemans & Van Belkum, [n.d., 1903/1905] - 3 parts - (4) 570 (2); (2) 606 (2); (2) 421 (2) pp. - red cloth bindings with gold lettering - 26 x 20 cm
Reasonable. Planed and bumped corners and edges. Label on the inside front cover, signature on the flyleaf. Interior yellowed, foxing - mainly on plates. Some dog-ears. Tear, 1 to 1.5 cm, in the margin of 5 pages.
deel 1: spine strip only fixed to the right hinge. Inner margin between pages 64 and 65 open.
2: section 19 to 30 almost loose.
3: spine strip only fixed to the left hinge, cover and first section up to page 16 almost loose. Page 393/394 and 395/396 roughly cut and thus bites from the outer margin
Contains about 900 illustrations in the text, 20 full-page wood engravings and 7 plates in color.
