This mannequin was conceived and produced by one of the greatest and most visionary mannequin designers. The lot consists of the bust and legs, without the base for support.
Adel Rootstein founded the company in the late 1950s, making wigs and stage materials in a small apartment in Earl’s Court. At the time she realized that all the shop mannequins were the same. So she began creating manually crafted mannequins that looked younger, more fascinating and more modern, not indistinct figures!
Her creations have represented the history of fashion’s changes across the continent.
The mannequin consists of a torso and legs without arms and without a base.
The torso and the face contain small imperfections that can be restored but do not hinder its beauty and uniqueness.
