NIGRI is an ITALIAN company, dedicated to the production of luxury chess sets.

It is an artistic creation made with marble powder from the Carrara quarries, from the NIGRI brand, dating from 2000. 32 pieces flattened and retouched one by one before being aged and hand-painted, a process carried out in Italy, in the province of Lucca.

This chess set recreates the Battle of Waterloo between the French army led by Napoleon and the coalition of European nations led by the Duke of Wellington.
Great detail in its craftsmanship. They are a very comfortable size for playing, with a king height (Napoleon, Wellington) of 7 cm and a pawn height (soldiers) of 4.5 cm.
