This work recalls a place that is not quite tangible — somewhere between water, light and memory. The luminous blue and green tones meet warm yellow hues and create an atmosphere that is at once lively and soothing. Like the view of a lagoon, the painting constantly changes: sometimes calm and clear, sometimes moved and full of depth.

The many layers, traces and transitions give the painting an organic feel. It almost seems as if light reflections dance on water or as if the wind had, for a brief moment, carried colors across the surface.

"Lagoon" invites you to pause. The painting speaks of freedom, vastness and that special feeling of being completely in the moment for a moment.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio — a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes and thoughts.
From childhood I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me — it accompanies me to this day and continuously inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said — emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is an intuitive process for me in which authenticity and depth take center stage. Each work is a piece of myself — an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm a stretched canvas frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm is needed.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery.

This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.

High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple coats of white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and thus a one-of-a-kind!
