It seems as if a quiet, deep lake is spreading at the center of the image – calm, carried by rich blues that almost look like water. Nothing is clearly outlined, and yet a sense of vastness arises, of a place that is not loud, but simply there.

The green and yellow areas around it remind of shores, of light reflecting in the water without settling. Everything seems to merge, soft and flowing, as if the landscape only forms in the moment of viewing.

Meanwhile this "lake" feels less like a place outside, but rather like a state inside. A space you cannot see, but can only feel. Quiet, sometimes a little hidden, but always present – a place you can return to when everything else becomes too much.

Biografie:
I h a m Sandra Glaser and live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes and thoughts. Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement. I paint out of passion. It is an intuitive process for me, in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame of the size 150 x 120 cm and a depth of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated.

High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple layers of white-primed gallery canvas.

Also, a varnish was applied to protect the work.
