UPSILON is a large elongated painting in acrylic on a linen canvas stretched over wood.

In teal and gold tones, an unusual female silhouette stands out.

Why Upsilon? It is the twentieth letter of the Greek alphabet, represented by Y in French words.
It evokes here singularity and duality, with this woman in a clownish yet precious costume, a warrior-like copper-brown hammered headdress, a face with Asian-inspired features, an archetype of the female clown who does not obey conventional laws, defies customs and expresses her uniqueness.
