This painting feels like a moment in the middle of life – loud, bright, contradictory and at the same time full of calm. The luminous yellow areas evoke sunlight that slides through thoughts, memories, and encounters. In between lie darker traces, like small shadows that every day brings with it.

Nothing in this work is entirely clear or fixed. Precisely there lies its closeness to the human being: feelings overlay each other, impressions blur, some things remain open. And yet a balance emerges – a rhythm of movement, energy, and quiet in-between spaces.

"Inside the Day" does not tell of a specific place, but of a state. Of the hours when everything happens at once: hope, unrest, warmth, fatigue, and a sense of departure. The painting invites not to seek a single meaning, but to let yourself drift – like through a day that constantly changes and yet remains familiar.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe I gathered many artistic impressions that shaped my view of painting.
My preferred mode of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantastical worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often only expressible through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm, a stretcher frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm is required.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsman or gallery professional.

This is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated for the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on repeatedly primed gallery canvas.
Similarly, a varnish was applied to protect the work.

This piece is handmade and thus a one-of-a-kind!
