South is a book by Ernest Shackleton describing the second expedition to Antarctica led by him, the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914 to 1917. It was published in London by William Heinemann in 1919 new imoression.
The book is complete with map but although complete is split along folds. The book spine is split (see pic) thre are some foxing to few pages but overall is in good condition.
This is a rare book sought after by Antarctica enthusiasts.
