The painting was purchased either at an auction house or in a gallery. The owner frequented Parisian auction houses at the time. Dimensions with frame: 39 x 32. Style more on the impressionist side; no invoices or certificate from the former owner of the painting were found. A slight crackling/cracking on the left surface. A wood chip is missing from the frame at the top right. The work is signed on the front.

Le proprietaire frequentait à  l epoque des salles de ventes aux enchères à  Paris. 
Dimensions avec cadre : 39 x 32
Style plutôt impressionisme, on n ' pas trouvait des factures ou certificat de l' ex proprietaire du tableau. 
Une légère craquelure sur la plage à gauche .
Il manque un eclat de bois sur le cadre en haut à  droite.
L oeuvre est signé au recto.
