Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
Sculpture " FREE "
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been crafted with elaborate handwork.
This is not about symmetry or perfection of the sculpture here, but rather about a reflection of the
human diversity with all its differences.
Hand-signed
The ultramarine blue color is prepared by me myself from pigment in a specific recipe.
Thanks to this recipe, the blue remains matte, velvety in the surface and absorbs light.
This means that the less light falls on the sculpture, the more intensely the blue shines.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising that are well known.
The motifs used are torn from their original context,
altered by me and thus given a new life as an "art object"
