N. 9 drawings by the Italian artist Angelo Todaro, born in Fragagnano (Ta) on 17/12/1945, died on 22/03/2025.
These drawings were made as comic strips by the artist to describe the history of Taranto. Initially published in strips in the Taranto daily newspaper “Il corriere del giorno,” later transformed into two historical volumes, published by Scorpione Editrice under the title “The Dream and History.” Orazio enters a dream to the artist and accompanies him to ancient Rome, describing the customs and manners of the era.
The drawings are original and exclusive and have, in addition to artistic importance, also historical significance.
