Description from the seller

Barbotine carafe, dating from 1900-1920. It is a so-called 'character jug', a caricatured earthenware jug, in France called a 'Pichet Jacquot'. The inscription 'Reforme Urgente' (urgent reform) indicates that it is a satirical image. Belle Époque style. Made in the faïencerie of Onnaing, numbered 741. In good complete condition, the photos are part of the description.
