Detailed Specifications:
Brand: J. Altrichter, Hof-Instrumenten-Fabrik
Type of instrument: Bb Tenor Horn (3 rotary valves)

Colour: Brass with natural aged patina

History and Condition:
J. Altrichter was a renowned court supplier to Prussian royalty, known for exceptional build quality. This tenor horn features the original engraved maker mark. All three rotary valves move freely, none are seized, and they function properly. There are no signs of amateur repairs or heavy modern polishing — the patina is honest and authentic. Technical Note:
The mechanics are lubricated and move freely. Good compression for its age. However, since the instrument is an antique collectible, we strongly recommend professional cleaning, maintenance, oiling, and tuning by a brass instrument specialist before regular musical use.
