Figure - Cavaliere a cavallo - Porcelain

Rare sculpture in glossy white porcelain from the Royal Manufactory of Nymphenburg (Bavaria), depicting Frederick II of Prussia ("Der alte Fritz") on horseback. Original model by the famous sculptor Theodor Kärner. The piece is distinguished by its extraordinary dynamism and the fineness of the details.
Under the base it bears the green Nymphenburg mark and the impressed numbers 278 / 2

Conditions (Read carefully):
The main structure and the glaze are excellent. Two flaws due to the fragility of the piece are noted:
The bridles between the rider's hands and the horse's mouth are missing.
The tip of the bow on the tail behind the figure's neck is missing.
No other defects or previous restoration. Splendid collectible piece, easily restorable with professional restoration.
