These drawings were made to illustrate the historical novel “The Dream and History.”

Orazio goes in dream to the artist and invites him to visit the places of the founding of Rome, recounting the historical events and the customs of those times.

The drawings presented are part of the novel, drawn in ink, by hand, on cardboard; they are exclusive and original.

They were first created to tell the history of the founding of Taranto and Rome and published in daily strips in the newspaper Il Corriere del giorno, then transformed into magazines and, subsequently, into the historical novel in two volumes The Dream and History. Orazio goes in dream to the artist and accompanies him to the historical places of the founding of Rome and Taranto, describing the customs and war scenes.
