Bust, Virgen orante - 22 cm - Polychrome stucco, Crystal

Religious bust of the Virgin depicted in a praying stance, with hands joined and gaze lowered. The piece is made entirely of polychromed stucco, with glass eyes and a metallic nimbus added later.

The figure features careful execution of the face, with soft features and a gathered expression. The garments appear modeled with broad folds, combining reddish tones, dark blue and gold on the base and along the edges of the mantle.

The oval base is decorated with relief vegetal motifs and a gilded finish, forming part of the same stucco piece.
