Set of two hookah stem elements dating to the late Mughal Empire period, made in engraved bronze.
It features hand-engraved incised decoration consisting of geometric and stylized vegetal motifs of Islamic tradition, characteristic of Mughal metalwork from northern India during the second half of the eighteenth century.
Culture: Mughal Empire
Origin: Northern India
Period: Second half of the eighteenth century (c. 1750-1800)
Material: Engraved bronze
