Lamp and Oil Lamp - 1924

This is a rare and historically significant catalogue titled *Lychnos et Lucerna* (Lamp and Oil Lamp)—a scholarly study and an illustrated descriptive catalogue of a collection of terracotta lamps discovered in Egypt. Authored by Dr. Alfred Osborne, the work features a foreword by the renowned archaeologist Dr. Evaristo Breccia—former director of the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria—thereby lending the publication high academic and documentary value. The volume comprises 18 pages of comprehensive technical analysis, accompanied by seven plates displaying photographs of the discovered terracotta pieces to facilitate their classification.
