Greek hand-made icon of Christ the Vine.
On the back of the icon writes in Greek:

A work inspired by icons of the Cretan School of the post-Byzantine period. It depicts Jesus Christ as the Vine and presents the Apostles as the branches. The Anarchic Father in the upper part of the blessing is also artistic. The Vine is a heavily painted icon and inspired many artists in the centuries that followed.

The composition of the icon of the Christ the Vine is crafted with indelible silkscreen colors on canvas with a gold background, on carved wood. The icon has been aged and is finished with pure beeswax. Available from ELTA stores (HELLENIC POST OFFICE).
