Exceptional rectangular jewelry casket (safe) of European antique manufacture (Baccarat-style or similar from the late 19th / early 20th century). The piece is entirely crafted in thick transparent crystal with rich, deep diamond-cut facets, giving the item a luminosity and geometric reflections when exposed to light.
The structure is joined by an elegant mount in chiselled gilded bronze, featuring a textured decorative surround with geometric relief motifs along the clasp and base. Notably, the front pressure-lock clasp stands out. The ensemble rests on four expressive bronze feet shaped like the claws of a big cat, giving it a sumptuous and refined presence.

Style/Period: Late 19th / Early 20th Century (Napoleon III Style / Romantic Art).
Format: Rectangular, with a faceted lid
Condition:
The piece is in very good overall condition for its age. The crystal retains excellent brightness and transparency. The bronze mounting shows a beautiful natural patina of time, with no evident structural misalignments. Slight natural historical wear on the exposed edges and at the base of the feet due to use.
