Description from the seller
Mister Zebra
100 x 70 cm
He sits there as if everything were normal.
The suit. The posture. The hands on the knees.
Only the head reveals what no one says.
We all wear a face that doesn’t quite belong to us.
Sometimes you only see the stripes when the light falls this way.

About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction - a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear.
An emotionally charged dance between control and letting go."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist originally from Croatia. She studied at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg, and Stuttgart and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
