The New Forest, an oil painting on canvas by F Mims from the 19th century, United Kingdom, hand signed, framed and measuring 64.5 × 54.5 cm, in good condition.
Description from the seller
I am offering a charming 19th century oil on canvas titled The New Forest, by artist F Mims. Signed and dated 1888 bottom left. Presented in its original gilt frame.
The painting measures 40 x 29 cm with the frame 64.5 x 54.5 cm.
Condition of the painting is fairly good. Please view all pics for accurate condition. Some light wear. Ready to hang.
Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
