ELFA - Pitcher - Brass - Antique Brass Bed Warmer

This object is a vintage brass water bottle, produced in France by the ELFA brand in the 1940s.

Era: Similar brass or copper specimens are commonly dated to the early 1900s. Some models with similar designs were produced up to the 1930s and 1950s. made of brass (or sometimes copper), materials chosen for their excellent heat-conducting capacity. It was filled with boiling water through the upper screw cap and placed in bed to warm the sheets before going to sleep.
