I am a painter,

I was trained at the Beaux-Arts workshops of the City of Paris, where I learned oil techniques in nude figure studios. I am a member of the Taylor Foundation.

I have become interested in landscape painting and in working with material. The theme of water lilies and water gives me a broad spectrum of exploration. The introduction of pigments in my work allows me to experiment with fluidity in my canvases.

The canvas evokes the water lilies motif from Giverny. It hints at the water lilies beneath a veil of water that covers the canvas. It is the contrast between the materiality of the water lilies and the fluidity of the water that gives the painting its density.

The relationship of colors between the pink hues of the water lilies and the monochrome blue of the water creates a striking contrast in the composition.
